How to Delete Your Data on Connectly: Video Chat

At Connectly: Video Chat (by strangerchat.partner), we value your privacy and offer full control over your data. This guide explains how users can request deletion of their personal information and what types of data are removed when you choose to delete your account.

🔐 What Data Does Connectly Collect?

Connectly only collects the minimum required personal information to offer a smooth and secure user experience:

  • Name

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth (DOB)

  • Profile Picture

No chat logs, messages, or location data are stored. We also do not collect email addresses, passwords, or any sensitive financial information.

🧹 How to Delete Your Data from Connectly

We offer two easy methods for users to delete their account and all associated data:

📱 Inside the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Connectly app.

  2. Tap on the Profile tab (bottom menu).

  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear ⚙️ in the top-right corner).

  4. Tap Delete Data.

From here, you will see two options:

1. Delete Automatically

  • Tap the Delete Data button in the confirmation dialog.

  • Your personal data will be immediately deleted from our servers.

  • No further action is required.

2. Delete Manually

We will manually delete your data using this ID and confirm the deletion via email (if provided).

📅 Data Retention Policy

Once you delete your data via either method:

  • Your name, gender, DOB, and photo are permanently erased from our system.

  • No data is retained for future use unless deletion is requested manually but not confirmed (in which case we hold it for 7 days before automatic deletion).
