This Privacy Policy explains how Bondvia (“Bondvia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, stores, and deletes personal data when you use our mobile app and related services (the “Services”). It also explains your choices and rights. By downloading, installing, or using Bondvia you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Short summary (for quick reference) — Bondvia is a social video chat app for adults (18+). We collect account info (profile, email), camera & microphone access to enable live video calls (we don’t record calls), device & usage data for analytics and safety, messaging content you send, and limited payment info when you purchase. We use third-party processors (AWS, Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, GA4, and advertising SDKs). You can request deletion, data access, or portability — see “Your Rights” below.
1. Who this applies to / Controller
This Policy applies to personal data processed through Bondvia apps and related services. Where required by law, Bondvia is the data controller for the processing of your personal data. If you have questions about how we handle your data, email strangerchat.partner@gmail.com.
2. Who can use Bondvia
Bondvia is intended for people 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not register or use the Services. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
3. Information we collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to provide and improve the Services. Categories of data we collect include:
Account & profile information
-
Display name, username, profile photos, profile bio, gender (optional), birthdate (to verify minimum age), email address, phone number (if provided), and other details you add to your profile.
Authentication & account access
-
Passwords (stored securely / hashed), OAuth tokens if you log in using Google Sign-In, and device identifiers linked to your account.
Camera, Microphone & Media
-
Camera and microphone access is required to enable live video/audio calls. Bondvia does not record or store live audio/video calls unless you explicitly opt into a specific in-app recording feature (not available by default) or verification flow that requires upload of a photo/video.
Messages & user content
-
Text messages, photos, emojis, stickers, and other content you send or upload through the app (“User Content”). We process User Content to deliver messages, moderate content, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Device & usage data
-
Device model, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, language, timestamped logs of feature use, crash logs, and performance data. This information helps us improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and detect abuse.
Payment & purchase information
-
Purchase receipts, transaction IDs, subscription status, billing information required by payment processors. We do not store full card numbers — payment card details are handled directly by the payment processor (e.g., Google Play Billing or third-party payment providers).
Location
-
We do not collect precise GPS location by default. If you enable location features, we may collect approximate location (country or city) or device coordinates. You may disable location at any time.
Third-party & public information
-
Information you choose to import from linked accounts (e.g., Google profile info), and information publicly available about you.
Cookies & similar technologies
-
When you use web parts of our Services or embedded web views, we and our providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for analytics, remembering preferences, and delivering functionality.
4. Permissions requested by the app
Bondvia will request only the permissions needed to provide features:
-
Camera — enable live video calls.
-
Microphone — enable live audio in calls.
-
Storage / Photos — allow uploading profile photos or sharing images.
-
Contacts (optional) — only if you explicitly choose to import contacts; we will ask for consent and explain usage.
-
Location (optional) — for optional location features; you control this in settings.
-
Push notifications — to alert you to messages, calls, and important updates.
We explain each permission in-app and request explicit user consent where required.
5. How we use your information
We use data to:
-
Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services (video calls, messaging, profiles).
-
Authenticate accounts, prevent fraud, and detect abuse or policy violations.
-
Moderate content, investigate reports, and enforce our Terms of Service.
-
Respond to user support requests and communicate important notices.
-
Process purchases and maintain billing records necessary by law.
-
Personalize and recommend content or matches (you can opt out of certain personalization features).
-
Conduct analytics for product development and performance monitoring (GA4).
-
Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Our legal bases for processing include performance of contract, legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention, service improvement), and user consent where applicable.
6. Content moderation & verification
-
Moderation: We use automated and manual review tools to detect abusive content, nudity, illegal activity, and other policy violations. Moderation may involve temporary storage or limited processing of User Content to evaluate compliance. We apply the least intrusive approach and use aggregation/pseudonymization where reasonable.
-
Verification: If you voluntarily undergo identity verification (photo or document), we will collect only what is necessary. Verification may be performed by trusted third-party vendors. Verification materials are handled securely and retained only as needed for safety and fraud prevention — see retention section below.
7. Sharing & disclosures
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as described below:
-
Other users: Information you make public in your profile (username, profile photos, public bio) is visible to other users by default. You control what is public.
-
Service providers & subprocessors: We share data with vendors that provide hosting, analytics, payment processing, moderation/verification, and other services. Key processors include:
-
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting and storage
-
Firebase (Google) — authentication, push notifications, realtime features, crash reporting
-
Google Sign-In (OAuth) — optional authentication provider
-
Google Play Billing / Payment Processors — for subscriptions and in-app purchases
-
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — product analytics
-
Third-party ad SDKs — for advertising and monetization (these SDKs may collect device identifiers and usage signals per their policies)
-
-
Legal & safety: We disclose data to comply with legal process, law enforcement requests, or to protect our rights, property, safety, or the public.
-
Business transfers: In a merger or sale, user data may be transferred; we will notify users and provide required choices.
8. International transfers
Bondvia operates globally and may transfer or store personal data to countries outside your jurisdiction (including the U.S.). When data is transferred cross-border, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) or rely on other lawful mechanisms.
9. Data retention & deletion
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described and to comply with legal obligations.
Typical retention timelines (tailor these to your actual practice and local law):
-
Account & profile data: retained while account is active; deleted on account deletion (see below) except for data required to comply with law.
-
Messages & User Content: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to investigate abuse; copies may remain on recipients’ devices.
-
Backups & logs: retained up to 90 days for disaster recovery, fraud prevention, and compliance.
-
Verification records: retained up to 3 years for fraud prevention and safety, unless local law requires longer retention.
-
Transactional/payment records: retained as required by law for accounting and tax — typically up to 7 years.
Account deletion process
-
When you request account deletion, your profile is removed from public view immediately or within 24 hours.
-
We will delete your data from active production systems within 30 days.
-
Backups and logs may persist for up to 90 days or as required by law.
-
You may request deletion via the app or by emailing strangerchat.partner@gmail.com. We will verify your identity before processing deletion requests. If you change your mind during any short cancellation window (if implemented), contact us promptly.
10. No in-app call recording (explicit)
Bondvia does not record or store live video or audio calls by default. Camera and microphone access are used only for live streaming during calls. If we add a recording feature, we will obtain explicit consent and provide clear information on how recordings are stored and used.
11. Analytics, advertising & cookies
-
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure app performance and usage. GA4 processes pseudonymized identifiers and event logs to help improve the product.
-
We use third-party ad SDKs to support monetization. These SDKs may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, and non-identifying usage signals. Their data practices are governed by the SDK providers; please review their privacy policies.
-
On web or embedded browser components we use cookies and similar technologies. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser/device settings.
12. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational protections: TLS encryption in transit, access controls, encryption at rest where applicable, vulnerability testing, and staff training. While we strive to protect data, no system is perfectly secure. Report suspected security incidents to strangerchat.partner@gmail.com.
13. Automated decision-making & profiling
We may use automated systems to surface recommended users or content (e.g., matching or discovery algorithms). These systems use non-sensitive profile data and usage patterns. If applicable law grants you rights to challenge or obtain meaningful information about the logic used, you may request that information by contacting us.
14. Your rights & choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
-
Access the personal data we hold about you.
-
Request correction or deletion of your data.
-
Object to or restrict processing where applicable.
-
Request portability of your data in a commonly used machine-readable format.
-
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
-
For residents of the EU/EEA/UK, request erasure, rectification, restriction, and data portability under GDPR.
-

To exercise your rights, contact us at strangerchat.partner@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests. We respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.
15. Children & safety
Bondvia is for adults. If we determine that we have received personal information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete that information. We implement moderation tools and reporting mechanisms so users can report inappropriate behavior or content.
16. Third-party links & integrations
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or embedded content. We are not responsible for third-party data practices; review their privacy policies before sharing personal information.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy for legal, technical, or business reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email and update the “Last updated” date.
18. How to contact us / complaints
