Information We Collect
We collect certain information when you sign up and use Connectly. For example:
Account Information: Your name, gender, birthday, and profile picture (provided by you during registration).
Call and Chat Metadata: Details like timestamps, call durations, and anonymized user IDs needed to connect and manage your video calls. (We do not record or store the actual video or audio content of your calls.)
Device Information: Data such as your device type or IP address to help troubleshoot issues and improve the app.
Google Play guidelines require apps to clearly disclose what user data is collected cookie-script.com, and we list these categories to meet that requirement.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to operate and improve Connectly: Video Chat. For example:
Account Setup: We use your registration info to create your account, personalize your profile (e.g. showing your name and profile picture), and verify you meet the 18+ age requirement.
Video Calling: We use your camera and microphone only during a live video call, so that you and the person you call can see and hear each other. (Your video/audio is not recorded or saved.)

Advertising: We use data to show you relevant ads through our advertising partners (see below).
Service Quality: We may use data internally for troubleshooting, preventing abuse, or compliance with laws.

Permissions
Connectly requests access to your camera and microphone because these are necessary for video calls. Android considers camera and microphone data to be sensitive personal information support.google.com. We only use these permissions when you explicitly initiate a call. During a call, your camera and microphone transmit video and audio in real time; we do not record or store the call’s content. You can revoke or disable these permissions in your device settings at any time, but without them the video call feature will not work.
Data Sharing
We share data with third-party services that help us run the app and offer features:
Analytics providers: We use Google Analytics and Firebase to track app usage and diagnose issues. These services only receive the data they need to perform analytics and are bound by strict privacy controls.
Advertising partners: Connectly displays ads in the app, and we share necessary data (such as anonymized usage statistics or ad identifiers) with ad networks to show relevant ads cookie-script.com.

You can delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account and associated data, go to Profile > Delete Data in the app and follow the prompts. This permanently removes your personal information from our active systems. If you have difficulty deleting your data in the app, you may also contact us (see below) to request deletion. After deletion, we may retain anonymized or aggregate data for legitimate business purposes as described above, but all personally identifiable information will be removed.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
EU (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. This includes the “right to be forgotten,” meaning you can request erasure of your data gdpr-info.eu. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or restrict processing.
California (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal data we collect and to request deletion of your data termly.io.
