Guidelines

FunTalker is a global social video chat platform for adults (18+). Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and respectful space where people from around the world can connect authentically through real video conversations.

These guidelines keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone. Violations result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.

Be Yourself
Use FunTalker as you really are. Your nickname can be a fun persona, but your behaviour, profile photo, and video presence should be genuine. No fake identities or impersonation.

Be Respectful
Treat every user the way you would want to be treated. Kindness, patience, and courtesy make FunTalker a place people want to return to. Disagreements are fine — harassment is not.

Keep Your Face Visible
During video calls, your face must be clearly visible at all times. Do not:
  • Point the camera at your body, a blank wall, or a black screen
  • Cover your face with filters, masks, or objects
  • Use a pre-recorded video instead of a live feed
Our system automatically detects when a face disappears from frame. Persistent violations result in reporting and suspension.

Stay Safe
Protect yourself and others:
  • Never share your home address, financial details, or passwords with other users
  • Be cautious of users who ask for money, personal information, or off-platform contact
  • Report suspicious behaviour immediately using the Report button

No Adult or Explicit Content
FunTalker is an 18+ platform, but that does not mean explicit content is permitted. Nudity, sexual acts, and explicit behaviour are strictly prohibited in video calls, messages, and profile photos. Our system detects sensitive content automatically during video calls, even when partially obscured.

Profile Photo Rules
Profile photos are optional. If you upload one, it must:
  • Not contain nudity, explicit content, or graphic imagery
  • Not include minors
  • Not mislead other users about your identity

No Hate Speech or Harassment
Content that demeans, threatens, or discriminates against any person based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or disability is strictly forbidden. This includes slurs, threats, and targeted harassment campaigns.

No Spam or Fake Behaviour
Do not send unsolicited promotional messages, use automated bots, create multiple accounts to evade bans, or use a fake profile photo or persona to deceive other users.

Absolute Zero Tolerance
FunTalker has absolute zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Any content that exploits, harms, sexualises, or involves minors results in an immediate permanent ban and mandatory referral to law enforcement. CSAE includes: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation, and any form of trafficking or exploitation of a person under 18. All CSAE incidents are reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). There are no warnings for child safety violations.
Age Requirement: You must be 18 or older to use FunTalker. Our age gate hard-blocks anyone under 18 from creating an account. If you suspect a user is underage, report them immediately using the Underage report category.

How We Verify Age
All users must confirm they are 18 or older at account registration. False declarations result in immediate account termination.
  • FunTalker uses automated signals during onboarding — including device-level signals and registration patterns — to detect accounts that may belong to underage users.
  • Users may be asked to verify their age at any time. Failure to verify results in account suspension pending review.
  • Accounts suspected of belonging to a user under 18 (based on behaviour, reports, or system signals) are reviewed and permanently removed if confirmed underage.
Suspect an underage user? Tap the Report button and select "Underage User". These reports are treated as highest priority.

Use the in-app Report button on any user's profile or during a video call. Our moderation team reviews every report. You can report for any of the following reasons:

Reports marked Underage and Child abuse are treated as highest priority and reviewed immediately by our team.

Automated Detection
FunTalker uses Google ML Kit to detect sensitive content during live video calls in near real-time. Detection happens continuously throughout the call, typically within seconds of a violation occurring — not after the fact. Flagged content is automatically blurred, and severe violations may interrupt the session immediately without waiting for human review. The system also monitors face visibility throughout calls.

Human Review
Every user report is reviewed by a real member of the FunTalker moderation team. Our team can remove content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or escalate cases to law enforcement.

Block Any User, Any Time
You have the right to block any user on FunTalker at any time, for any reason — no explanation required.
  • During a live call: Tap the "..." menu in the top-right corner and select "Block User".
  • On a profile: Tap "Block".
  • In a chat thread: Tap the user's name → select "Block".
What blocking does: The blocked user cannot contact you, will not be matched with you again, and is not notified that they have been blocked. Blocking is immediate. To unblock: go to Settings → Blocked Users. Blocking is separate from reporting — if the user violated our guidelines, please also Report them so our team can take action.
Content Violation — Your violating content is removed and a warning may be issued
Repeated Violations — Account suspended for a defined period
Severe Violations — Immediate permanent ban with no prior warning
Child Safety Violations — Immediate permanent ban + mandatory law enforcement escalation

How We Work With Authorities
FunTalker cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies and government authorities when required by law or when necessary to protect the safety of our users and the public.
  • We respond to valid legal process including court orders, subpoenas, search warrants, and lawful government requests.
  • All confirmed CSAE violations are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
  • When imminent risk to life or safety is identified, we may proactively disclose information to law enforcement without waiting for a formal legal request.
  • We preserve user data when legally required to do so pending formal legal process.
Legal Requests: Law enforcement agencies and authorised parties may submit lawful requests to strangerchat.partner@gmail.com. All requests must comply with applicable laws and jurisdictional requirements.

Utah Minor Protection Act — Effective May 7, 2026
FunTalker complies with the Utah Minor Protection in Social Media Act. FunTalker is an 18+ platform and does not permit account creation by users under 18. Our age gate, automated signals, and moderation systems are designed to prevent minors from accessing the platform. Utah residents who believe a minor is using FunTalker should report immediately using the Underage User report category.

Louisiana Age Verification Act — Effective July 1, 2026
FunTalker complies with Louisiana’s age verification requirements for online platforms. All users must confirm they are 18 or older at registration. Louisiana residents may contact us at strangerchat.partner@gmail.com with questions about our age verification practices.
VIP subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience and access to the Female gender filter. VIP status does not exempt anyone from these Community Guidelines. All users — free and VIP — are held to the same standards.
