FunTalker VIP is a paid subscription that removes all ads and unlocks exclusive features. This policy explains how billing works, how to request a refund, and how to cancel your subscription.

Google Play Handles All Billing
FunTalker does not process payments directly. All VIP subscription purchases, renewals, and billing are handled exclusively by Google Play Billing. This means:
  • Your payment details are held by Google, not by us
  • All receipts and invoices are issued by Google Play
  • Billing disputes are handled by Google, not by FunTalker
  • Subscription renewals are managed by Google Play automatically
FunTalker cannot access, modify, or refund any payment. We do not store your Google Play payment information and have no ability to issue refunds directly. All refund requests must go through Google Play.

Submit Your Refund Request to Google Play
Refund requests must be submitted directly to Google Play. FunTalker has no ability to issue or approve refunds. Here is how to request a refund:

Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

Tap your profile icon in the top right, then select "Payments & subscriptions""Order history".

Find the FunTalker VIP purchase and tap "Request a refund" or "Report a problem".

Follow Google's prompts to complete your refund request. Google will review your request and notify you of their decision.
Alternative: You can also submit a refund request at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory from a web browser. Google Play's refund decisions are final and at Google's sole discretion.

No Refunds for Used Subscription Periods
In general, subscription charges are non-refundable once the subscription period has begun. Specifically:
  • If you have already used VIP features during the billing period (ad-free experience, premium filters, etc.), the charge for that period is typically not refundable.
  • Cancelling your VIP subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period already paid. You will retain VIP access until the end of the current period.
  • Partial-period refunds are not available through FunTalker. Google Play may grant refunds at its discretion under its own policies.
Google's Refund Policy: Google Play may approve refunds for purchases made within a short window (typically within 48 hours of purchase) under Google's standard policies. FunTalker has no influence over Google Play's refund decisions.
Cancel to Avoid Future Charges
To prevent your VIP subscription from renewing, you must cancel it through Google Play before the next renewal date. Cancelling through the FunTalker app settings alone does not cancel the billing subscription.

Open the Google Play Store app.

Tap your profile icon"Payments & subscriptions""Subscriptions".

Find FunTalker in the list and tap it.

Tap "Cancel subscription" and follow the prompts to confirm cancellation.

What Happens After Cancellation
  • Your VIP subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation.
  • When the period ends, your account reverts to the free tier and ads will resume.
  • Deleting the FunTalker app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Google Play.
Important: If you delete the FunTalker app without cancelling your subscription first, you may continue to be charged. Always cancel through Google Play Subscriptions before uninstalling the app.

Disputing a Charge
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or without authorisation:
  • First, contact Google Play support — Google handles all billing and is best positioned to investigate and resolve billing errors.
  • If you are unable to resolve the issue with Google Play, contact us at strangerchat.partner@gmail.com with the subject "Billing Dispute — FunTalker VIP". Include your Google Play Order ID (found in your Google Play receipt email) and a description of the dispute.
  • We will investigate and, where possible, assist you in resolving the dispute with Google Play.

Unauthorised Purchases
If you did not authorise a VIP purchase (e.g., a family member or child made the purchase without permission), please:
  • Report the unauthorised charge to Google Play immediately for a refund review.
  • Consider enabling Google Play purchase authentication to prevent future unauthorised purchases (Google Play → Settings → Authentication).

FunTalker VIP Benefits
  • Ad-free experience — all CAS.ai ad networks (AdMob, ironSource, Unity Ads, AppLovin, Mintegral) are disabled
  • No CAS.ai tracking — ad SDK data collection is disabled for VIP members
  • Gender filter — ability to filter matches by gender (Female filter)
  • Priority matching — where available
VIP benefits are active for the duration of your paid subscription period and deactivate when the subscription lapses or is cancelled.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of FunTalker VIP after a policy change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
